Dead To The World

((Goth days, written in an English Literature mock exam.))

Feeling your teeth against my neck.
A gentle pressure to ease my pain.
Sharpened enamel pierces my flesh.
Pulse of ecstasy inside my brain.

I’m on fire, inside and out.
I bite back we bleed together.
Sharp embrace in one another.
Crying, bleeding, touch, a feather.

Souls entwined we start to die.
With fear inside, of brighter light.
Soft caress and evil dreams.
I give up without a fight.

Inside you and inside me.
Buried deeply in our hearts.
Bleeding tears, embracing death.
Broken, shattered.
Dead to the world.
